Mind is an open, collegiate human service organisation which offers challenging, fulfilling work opportunities. We have a strong commitment to staff training and professional development and offer flexible work conditions.
Mind has a large workforce of community mental health practitioners, working in over 60 service sites across Victoria, South Australia, Queensland and Western Australia. Most employees who work directly with clients have a background in social work or occupational therapy, while others have studied courses such as psychology, nursing, community services or community development and many have prior work experience in community, disability, or drugs and alcohol services.
Mind also employs administrative staff covering a range of departments, such as human resources and people development, finance, fleet management, information technology and business information services, marketing and communications, facilities management, and quality and practice.
In addition to paid roles, Mind welcomes student and volunteer placements - although these are limited.
